Heisman Hijinks

Texas QB Vince Young was visibly unhappy about finishing second to Reggie Bush in the Heisman balloting.

Reggie Bush wins the Heisman Trophy

“I’m just basically emotionally upset about that,” Young said.

News flash: Everyone who doesn’t win is upset about it, but the protocol is this: Congratulate the winner and move on. Have some class. Grow up. You’re not in third grade anymore.

I’m Vince Young. I’m upset because I didn’t win. Boo-hoo-hoo!

Man, I hope the Trojans kick his ass in the Rose Bowl.

UCLA quarterback Drew Olson received one first-place Heisman vote.

Now, whoever the jackass is who voted for Drew Olson should have his eyelids clamped open like Alex in A Clockwork Orange and be repeatedly forced to watch USC’s 66-19 trashing of UCLA, in which Bush rushed for 260 yards, and would have had 400 if they’d left him in the game in the second half.

They really should publicly identify the Heisman voters so we can make that happen.

Funny, no posts after Texas beat SC in the Rose Bowl. You talk all that Sh about VY, then he goes out and backs up all his talk on the field and displays arguably the greatest clutch performance in the history of college football. I’m not a VY fan, but if you’re going to talk Sh when you’re on top, you’d better take the heat when you lose.

OK KH, but you’re a little late bringing the heat. I posted this a year and a half ago.

Wait…this just in from Russ Hodges:

“The Giants win the pennant! The Giants win the pennant! The Giants win the pennant!”
