Sometimes there's a choice between representing life as it actually happened or embellishing it for the sake of a good story, in which case I err on the side of making stuff up. Plausible deniability and all that. So . . . maybe my wife really does this, or maybe she doesn't, although just between you and me -- she does. Happy New Year to you too.
