I am a white guy who in the back of my mind always thought Asian girls were attractive but I really never considered the possibility of being in a relationship with one. To tell the truth, I was quite intimidated of the Asian girls in the United States because they are beautiful, mostly keep to themselves, and usually on converse with other Asians. That all changed one day when I was surfing the net. I was watching youtube and just typed in “hot girls” and was looking at pictures of girls. I then thought, “I wanna look at hot girls from all over the world.” I finally came across Asian girls on youtube and I was mesmorized! I then typed “Asian girls into my browser and up come all these dating sites for meeting Asian girls. I have to tell you I was always one that was down on internet dating. I thought it was the stupidest thing I have ever heard of but when I seen these Asian dating sites I figured what the hell. I thought I would have a little fun so I input my profile and then payed my fee and within hours I had many responses. Well from then on I was hooked. My intentions were pure. I was looking for my soul mate. I met quite a few girls. Some were very nice and some were scam artists but nothing ever really panned out until I met my sweetheart from Viet Nam. Her name is Nhung and she is 12 years older than her. We hit it off and now we have plans to be married. She is the sweetest girl I have ever known. I have always heard Asian girls were faithful and nurturing and I guess, at least in this case, it is true. Stumbling across those Asian dating sites is the best accident that has ever happened to me. American guys are just fed up with American girls narcissistic ways. We are tired of their vain and materialistic tendencies! They are generally unfaithful, spoiled, and full of themselves. They have no idea what it is to support and stand by their man and we are sick of it so we are looking in other places for our mates. I would tell any American man looking for a good woman to look for an Asian woman. Of course there are always exceptions to the rule and there are Asian girls just as bad as American girls but on the whole they are great!

There are too many stereotypes that are ruining things for those that may possibly end up dating other races and that’s a shame. I’m Asian, and I like primarily white males. I don’t have any specific reason why I (or should I say they) gravitate to them (me) but I do know the reasons I DON’T take an interest in them. Dating them has nothing do with them having bigger dicks, an inferiority complex (far from) I may have, or any of those utterly unfounded assumptions most people will lean towards on natural impulse molded by a society of stereotypes. I’ve dated both males that are significantly younger and older than me, but never in same age range–and I chose them based on their personalities more than looks believe it or not. I’ve had both very good looking and ugly men approach me both charming, intelligent, nice, mean, or even dumb or a combination of the traits, but never have I been with one that was good looking and unintelligent or intelligent and unattractive. People are so ignorant it’s such a shame.

On the issue of beauty and race, if you ask me about my preference of a most beautiful race for females, at least from what I’ve observed, Columbian and Cuban women are the most beautiful; however, I’m not saying they are the most beautiful for everyone else who I’m sure have had different experiences. With Asian women…I think there are some of the most plainest looking people in my experience. Some of the most beautiful people, imo, are in the middle east.

You have got to be kidding me! what makes you think Middle Eastern people are ugly? why because the media gave you that image? Middle Eastern people have some of the most unique, and exotic looking people. They have some of the most desirable features.

Regardless, all races have beautiful people. In my opinion it all depends on your upbringing and where you live. In diverse and multicultural cities in North America I find that people are a lot more excepting of other races and tend to experiment more. What is more important in the realm of attraction is the culture and subculture you share! It does not matter what racial background you come from but how assimilated to are to North American culture. I Persian, I live in Vancouver Canada. The majority of my friends are Asian, but we’re a very diverse group of friends. My Asian friends have a mixture of white, brown, asian, and black gf’s, bf’s or in my case a middle eastern.

In the end its all about how confident you are, what your life skills are, and what you view as attractive. Such a small percentage of the population in the world make it as a model, actor, actress ect. I’ve of many cultural backgrounds given the diversity of where I grew up. I think some of them are hotter than whats on T.V., and there are a lot of men and women with partners with the same story.

In the last year i have had 4 of my friends get married. Korean guy and Japanese girl, their parents on both sides old skool and hate them for getting married (guess what they said f**k em). Chinese guy and Philippino gilr, (my boys Chinese parents hate her for being phlip, they said f**k em) White guy, Sikh girl, dad wants to kill the guy, she said f**k dad, they live in the USA now. Japanese girl and balck guy, parents disowned her, she dont give a f**k. My girl Vietnamese/white mix, to me the most beautiful girl in the world, for her im the most handsome guy she’s met (hairy chest and all).

Ignorance is the route cause of the problem, and our parents racists past and generation. Wake up young people of all color, there is nothing different about us, we all breath, need water and food, and have blood in our vain.

By the way the middle east is the most ethnically and culturally mixed region of the entire world. Ruled by Egyptians, Greeks, Romans, Persians, Ethiopians, Mongolians who are Asians. In the middle east you find the most interesting mixes in the world. In Afghanistan and Tajikistan you find people with Asian features, nose and eyes, but the color of eyes are green, blue, and they have brown and blond hair. It takes 4 generations of racial mix to have a creation like that. So rare it is, now show me that in T.V. !!!

I’m a Korean woman and majority of Korean women have the same thoughts on this WM/AF relationship. I find white men’s infatuation with Asian women to be thoroughly disgusting and revolting. Everywhere my Korean friends and I go, we’re showered with white mens affection towards us. From our proper upbringing, first we’re polite to them and give them hints that we’re not interested. From my past experience, never be polite to men that shows signs of interest. They take that as you like them. Now I just give them a disgusted look which startles these white guys but they will back off eventually. Expect a frustrated and angry look from these white men though. lol.
People really need to classify women within their nationalities instead of grouping all of us as Asians. What I have noticed in the 21st century is most Korean, Japanese and Chinese women go after Korean men. (NOT white men). It’s the dark skinned “Asians” ex: filiipinas, laotians, etc that tend to go after white men. Heck, come to think of it, these dark skinned women go after Korean men also. Well, white boys, you have some serious competition with Koreans. lol.
It’s true, in the early to mid 20th century, when the West was perceived as rich, powerful countries and the East was struggling with war and poverty where lots of Korean women married white men. But you have to remember, these war brides were rejected by Korean men and were regarded as dirty, uneducated whores. I think that’s why you will notice many Koreans look down on inter-racial relationships between Korean women and American men. It reminds us of war bride image. I’m not trying to crack on Korean war brides, but they are considered as low quality women who were ostracized by the Korean society. I guess they had no resort but to marry American GIs to survive.
The bottom line is majority of Korean women are interested in Korean men ONLY and white guys really need to stop embarrassing yourselves thinking you have a chance with Korean women. We’re just not interested.

I’m Asian, well from the Philippines, but in my opinion, all women of different kinds are beautiful in their own way. It doesn’t matter what others think, as long as you have confidence in yourself, why does it matter. I have been in the U.S. for almost twenty years, joined the Navy for six years and now work with government contracting. I was never part of an Asian clique or anything like that. I am currently with my Italian/German/French-Canadian boyfriend and we are very happy. Let’s just be happy for who we are. =)

A truly interesting topic, following are some of my random thoughts. I too have found myself being very interested in Asian and specially Japanese girls, it wasn’t a conscious decision like it seems to have been for some people here – just happened. Also, it certainly helps that I prefer beautiful straight black hair, shorter and more feminine girls but those are just the physical traits and as others have mentioned it’s also how Asian girls in general carry themselves. People choose partners whom with you can raise the best offspring with (it’s an unconscious decision) and I’ve never really felt that with any WF, call it chemistry or whatever but it just doesn’t happen – it cannot be forced. I’m a 6ft tall northern European with predominantly northern features and I just find tall blonde girls unattractive (plenty of them here) but I understand that opposites attract and that is why Italians, Spanish, Greeks but also British flock to here and the girls welcome them with open arms (or rather spread legs), it used to frustrate me but I can’t be bothered by it any more – live and let live. This instinct of “stop stealing our women” is completely natural and every man has it at some level, it dates back to millions of years when we used to live in small groups women were mostly used to produce and raise offspring so naturally every guy who threatened that was met with hostility.
I’ve developed a theory which seems to ring true – women in general are attracted to men who are confident but not cocky, men are confident in our approach if we feel we realistically have a chance with a girl (perhaps falsely, WMs have that impression of AFs) therefore it’s becoming a self-fulfilling prophecy of sorts.

Note to Asian guys: many WM dating AF means there is a large number of single WF, brush up your skills a bit and go for it, there are PLENTY of WF who are very interested in you…you just need to work a bit harder to find them.

just hit on this blog by random and was totally shocked to see so many haters.a preference for a certain type of racial features and traits certainly doesnt make you decide on a potentiol mate/bf/gf theres something called chemistry and fate/destiny.

I cannot speak to why Asian women go after white men. I have a hunch that it has something to do with power or status. But I do know why white men are attracted to Asian women, as I am a white man and have heard lots of other white guys talk. Asian women are very feminine and graceful. They are not like white women who are materialistic and have a chip on their shoulder. And they are not like black women who are masculine and have a sense of entitlement. Of course these are generalizations and in no way is a rule. But the main thing is Asian women are pretty and smart, and loyal. That’s why I married one.

The best looking people are Northern Europeans (Swedes, Germans, Poles etc…) and North East Asians (Japanese, Chinese). The ugliest are black Africans and Aboriginal Australians who look like primitive humanoids. Arabs, Indians, Malays, Hispanics are a mix of primitive humanoids and Whites and East Asians.

Allow me to preface this by stating I have had 5 longterm(over 6 months) sexual relationships with a Castillian Spanish, Chinese Asian, Scottish exchange student, Pakistani, and Vera Cruz Mexican. I am attractive to all these women because I’m tall, intelligent, a good listener, and an incredible cook.

When narrowing ones choices, a guy has a number of values to weigh
(1)Crazy vs. Chill
(2)Beauty/Curvy vs. Plain/Square
(3)Sensual vs. Coldfish
Bonus: Social perks(your guys/parents like her), Financial perks(she’s going to contribute to the bank account), Household perks (she keeps a good house without asking or complaining)
Pitfalls: Facial hair(which eliminates 50% of central asian women), Forearm rugs(which eliminates 50% of Middle eastern women), inability to grow natural long shiny but grease-free hair(which eliminates 90% of black women)

First of all women are at least a little bit crazy. Most are a lot crazy. So in determining that factor a man must decide how detrimental the crazy she possesses is to your health. Hispanics in my experience have been the most dangerous crazy. They tend to get violently jealous and know people who want to “cut” you. Asian women are very breakable emotionally. The will cry a lot and they don’t care if its in public or wherever. But they are of little danger as they don’t have any relatives who can physically threaten me. White girls tend to be very chill on an average day. Not that they can’t do something stupid, but they won’t go off on you if you take care of the important things. White women imagine doing the Carrie Underwood destruction of a former squeezes Truck, whereas Hispanic women hear that song as a review of previous events of their life. Indian/Paki/Sri Lankan women are the most chill women. I have never been embarassed by one publicly and they can put up with a lot of shit.

On the beauty scale, sure there are ugly/plain people of every race. But we aren’t here to discuss how the ugly people of this world find happiness. If you rather take the populations of each race that are generally considered attractive, hispanics, mediteranean and middle eastern women have beautiful faces and very pleasant curves. White women are attractive but tend to have less pronounced eyes and must be made up more. Black women have a tough go. I have several stunning black female friends but I can’t date them because their hair is repulsive. Attractive Asian women also can be beautiful but they tend to lack variation. They all have small eyes and straight black hair. The best combo I have seen is a friend (who I can’t seem to get) who is half cantonese half irish. She has enormous boobs, a small waist and almost no body hair. And she’s brilliant. In all honesty the only reason I like full asian women is the hope that if we have kids, they will be like her.

Finally sexual nature. Hispanic women shag like wild animals. They actually require sex on a weekly basis or their hair starts to fall out (seriously have witnessed this on two occasions) White women and asians are the biggest cold fish out there. They tend to be tighter but only if they have narrow hips (which is not present in curvy women) As such sex tends to be more uncomfortable, so they have less of it. Larger hipped women enjoy sex more and thus want to have it more often as long as they aren’t too large to find a willing partner.

On the subject of bonus’, it may be painfully stereotypical, but white women please parents and friends, indian/hispanic/asian women usually get valuable degrees, and asian/hispanic women keeps things orderly around the house, very unlike white women who are notoriously messy. I have experienced all of these first hand from both friends and lovers.

You are being disingenuous, of course. There’s no such thing as an “Asian” gene, but the dark hair/eyes phenotype is unquestionably dominant. To the extent that mixed offspring inherit these characteristics, yes, “looking Asian” is a dominant trait. You already knew that’s what most posters were referring to as the “Asian gene”, but keep up the confused act if it makes you feel better.

Being from Asia, I may be able to provide some insight into why Asian women prefer white guys. Over decades of economic and political oppression from the Western countries along with the media presentation of ‘perfect beauty’, people in Asia are brought up in an environment that tends to rank whites as being prettier than the natives. And this is not something specific to one country but is common in several countries. With this mindset, Asians, men and women, are attracted more to the whites. Asian men, however are primed to go for a native women to maintain the ethnic heritage but women have more flexibility. On the other hand, whites have been primed over decades to think that an Asian girl is more family oriented and will form a good partner. A combination of these environmental factors over a long time has resulted in what we see. This may also explain JazyChojin’s observations too.

Sorry to crash the party. There’s not a single race of people on this planet with good looks all the way around. I see ugly white people everyday. To cure that, only beautiful people should procreate (people who had plastic surgery should not procreate since they will pass their poor genetics). Unfortunately, I am not a dictator and I can not enforce that rule.

So you see several, if not most, butt ugly minorities in your inbred towns. Because that’s what I see every time I go inside an Indian or Chinese restaurant.

BUT – I have traveled outside the country and I have seen very attractive woman of every race. They are one of the few, but I would not have a problem whatsoever having babies with them.

By the way – to answer your question why asian girls go after white men…because they want to “assimilate”.

What kind of a question is this? I hope you did not mean to be offensive because that question was bordering racism.

I feel that this post is coming from a place of ignorance. First and foremost, every culture defines beauty differently. For example, East Asian countries in general find slim men more attractive than muscular guys.

Every race has “uglies and pretties”, do not think for one second that 90% of Asian girls are hot. Visit Asia and I will assure you that you will be very surprised. There are also Asian men who fit the “western” idea of beauty, but being Asian, it would stand to reason that there’s a relatively small number of them.

If you’re pointing out the disparity of male-female attractiveness in cultures/races, I will tell you now that Caucasians are not an exempt from the harsh reality that beautiful people are a rarity. There are really hot Caucasian girls who seem to be wasting their time with their ugly white boyfriends. It is utter delusion to think that every Caucasian male is attractive.

As for your wife’s cousin… she should probably go out more.

Some of what I say may be considered insulting, so here goes.

1) I live in NYC. In my opinion NYC white girls will not date anybody making less than 75K per year, weekends off, trust fund. How many non-white people have that kind of jobs? Therefore white men gravitate towards less expensive Asian girls.

2) White women are starting to date each other rather than compromise to their exhorbiant financial standards. That’s why the lesbian look is the rage in NY.

3) There is a recent story in the news about a California guy that kidnapped this girls and had 2 kids with her while she was held captive. Turns out he wanted lots of children, but was flat broke. See # 1 again.

I am a Mauritian boy of Indian-Nepalese origin, and according to the original article above and some of the previous comments, it can perceived that this is quite a selective-racism debate. Here in Mauritius the deal is exactly the same. Sino-mauritian girls are completely in the caucasian-loving thing. It seems quite ridiculous to me. Indian guys like me, are entirely evicted from the dating list of asian girls. They just say: I’ve never considered dating an indian guy, it’s not that am racist, but I prefer white guys, they are much more better looking.
Does this whole thing means that though I have a fun personality, very friendly, faithful, have good taste, dress well, BUT not being 6ft(i am 5ft6), having blue/green/hazel eyes(i have brown-black), blonde/auburn/red hair(black long hair), white skin(i have same skin complexion as kanye west), and a cool christian name makes me ugly(i have a traditional typical indian name), makes me really ugly.???
Actually my girlfriend of 2years is of Chinese origin, and despite the fact that she loves me, she keeps saying that am the only indian guy she finds acceptable-looking and that people having caucasian features are those gifted with true beauty traits. well i believe that asian women are REALLY beautiful! but i don’t think asian men are less than the women! in my opinion asian men are the most attractive ones.
i am middle eastern, female and don’t have to “hide” my face (or whatever).
when i went to asia there were many attractive men who didn’t care about racism and wanted to date me. i’m sorry if people would hate me, because my eyes are bigger, my lashes are longer… but i don’t think i’m less attractive than women from other races.
some white women have beautiful, coloured eyes. that’s why some asian men (good looking ones!) are attracted to them! and other handsome men (also asians) are attracted to women from other races. that’s the same with those beautiful asian women!
and other women in the world.

Are you crazy, google Persian Girls for proof…90% of Asian females have asses that are too flat for my taste, and I find most have very dull facial features, no eyebrows, flat little noses, no eyelashes. And usually they have very superficial personalities and are spoiled daddy’s girls. Filipino girls are usually the exception, they are pretty cool.
