— Try finding one in a classroom. Try finding a Mexican kid. If a Mexican kid walks on campus, the whole school goes into soft lockdown.
Wow, that’s fucked up. I went to this high school and yes, we don’t really have black kids… we don’t have them in Irvine. But one of my very best friends was a Mexican. He was the captain of the wrestling team, popular and well-liked. His two younger brothers also attended the school.
Don’t bash the school for the ethnic makeup of its student body, that’s cause of the surrounding area. The school is still a top-tier high school by any means. I attend a top northeast university now and find my academic skills more prepared than most any private school graduate.
