Lightning enjoyed gnawing on the cork . . . in fact, when anyone turned their attention away from their champagne glass, he’d stick his snout in and lap up some bubbly . . .
I can attest to the last sentence…Lightning has been a guest at our house, and he has helped himself to my glass of wine more than once! I don’t know if there are any 12 step programs for dogs; maybe there is an opportunity here! Happy new year!
