More than 144 hours into Barack Obama’s presidency, the economy is still in recession, the country is still at war, and in many parts of the country it’s still cold outside. Citizens are growing impatient: Wasn’t President Obama supposed to bring change?

It will mean more to you if you have to work for it…if he hands it to you right away, you won’t appreciate it and you’ll continue to take things for granted and be the Ugly American the rest of the world thinks you are. It helps if you actually listen to and are able understand what he said when he gave his speech during the inauguration. You’re doing the work…he’s just leading you. That’s what leaders do.
