At the start of 2020, when COVID first came to our shores, we didn’t know anything about it, we didn’t have a vaccine, and by the end of the year 400,000 Americans had died from the virus. By the start of 2021, we had a year of research and a vaccine. We’ve been vaccinating people for a year, and yet we have more COVID deaths under the Biden administration than under Trump, every day more vaccinated people are getting sick, so while the vaccine may keep you out of the hospital or the graveyard, it doesn’t provide immunity, it doesn’t stop the spread, I’m not sure it even slows the spread, given that we have more cases and deaths than ever. I’m a little late with this but some guy named Jared managed to make himself, in the eyes of about half the country, the worst person in America by saying “Let’s go, Brandon” to Joe Biden on a public Christmas call. I’ve been to Catholic church services . . . did not receive communion because I’m an atheist. As I understand it, it would have been against the rules. Can you be a Catholic just by saying so or does it require belief in and adherence to the precepts of the Church? And if you not only don’t believe in the precepts any more than I do, and in fact actively work against the precepts of the Church (e.g., regarding abortion) why do you get to call yourself a Catholic and receive communion? It’s not even that new. It started in 2009.
